Long forgotten game.
I played Albatross since season 1 - now known as "Pangya Season 4", maintained by NtreevSoft. Albatross was a great game for casual and hardcore gamers alike. For the casual gamer, it offered a 2-30p game with plenty of challenges and things to collect. For the hardcore gamer, the challenge was neverending in the race to achieve the maximum possible scores (4 years later, people are still chasing these goals). In recent years the game has gone the way most other MMOs travel over time (though Alba is not an MMO). The in game items became more and more overpowered and rank became of utmost importance (requiring thousands of hours of grinding). Pangya servers from countries like Brazil and Thailand - plagued with cheaters - were shut down, and many of the worst types of players from those servers found their way to Albatross18. The dialogue between players quickly became almost non-existent for English-only speakers. It's a fun game if you just want to shoot a fun round of golf with a friend, but don't expect too much from this long forgotten classic - take that from a player who spent thousands upon thousands of hours in this fantasy golf setting.Features of Albatross:
Golf, with a twist. Perform special shots to navigate around obstacles and into the hole in the smallest number of shots possible. The game is 100% calculatable and with much experience you will find yourself shooting the ball in the hole from 200+ yards away.
